Llopart hosts the solidarity concert by Ramon Mirabet

Last Saturday, April 29th we hosted the solidarity concert by Ramon Mirabet in the framework of the Festival MUSiCVEU organized by Pinnae, which this year destines the benefits to the foundation Amics Joan Petit – nens amb càncer, with whom from Llopart we collaborate through the sales of Most Flor de Xarel-lo, our solidarity must.

Ramon Mirabet, accompanied by the musicians Mario Ruiz and Ana Fernández began the concert in front of the iconic façade of the winery, with the sunset behind and unparalleled views of the Llopart vineyards, in the Penedès valley and Montserrat. The arrival of the rain meant that the recital was moved inside the cellars, among stacks and racks of wine bottles, where the trio improvised an acoustic second half of their repertoire.

Nearly 300 people attended the event, which offered the possibility of complementing the concert with a previous visit to Llopart, and with a dinner afterwards at the Mirador de les Caves restaurant. The proceeds from the tickets for the visit were also donated to Joan Petit, as well as the tickets for the Carmí, Integral and Most Flor tasting glasses that could be purchased during the concert.

MUSiCVEU is a music festival that emerged with the aim of promoting live music culture in the Penedès and that allocates part of its proceeds to solidarity projects. Since it launched in 2015, MUSiCVEU has brought together more than 14,000 people to its events, which take place both at the headquarters of Pinnae, as well as in different social and cultural spaces in Vilafranca and some wineries in the region. This edition, the ninth, the festival will benefit Amics Joan Petit – nens amb càncer, a non-profit foundation that aims to care for those affected directly and indirectly by childhood cancer and allocates its resources in several hospitals, centers and children’s cancer foundations.
