Llopart Panoramic,
Gold Medal and Best of Show Spain Sparkling Wine at Mundus Vini

Subirats, October 2022-. Llopart Panoramic Brut has received the Gold Medal at the international competition Mundus Vini, where it has also been recognized as Best of Show Spain Sparkling Wine, with the highest score in its category.

MUNDUS VINI was founded more than 20 years ago by Meininger Verlag, a publishing house dedicated to specialized publications in the wine sector. Since its creation, it has been one of the most important wine competitions in the world. Every year, an international jury made up of oenologists, winemakers, sommeliers, specialized journalists, and other wine professionals blind taste the more than 12,000 wines that are presented. These are evaluated according to the 100-point international scheme of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV).

Llopart Panoramic Brut is one of Llopart’s historic sparkling wines: it was first marketed in the early 1970s. Its long aging (more than 48 months) and its perfect balance between sweetness and acidity make it a very gastronomic sparkling wine. Throughout the years it has maintained a marked personality: predominance of the xarel·lo variety, searching for a body, dominated by aging tones and subtle oxidative hints. Its name and label speak of the Llopart landscape: an estate comprising 500 hectares of mountain vineyards and Mediterranean forest, at an average altitude of 360m, facing an exceptional panorama of Montserrat and the Penedès. Due to its altitude and orientation, Llopart’s vineyards grow in a unique microclimate in the region.
