Live the sprout of Llopart’s vineyards from a bird’s eye view
Last May 20th we offered a very interesting and attractive experience called Live the spout of Llopart’s vineyards from a bird’s eye view. Twenty-eight people had the privilege of taking part in this experience which, as they told us at the end of the day, is highly recommendable.
The morning started with a breakfast in our olive tree garden. The breakfast was made with local products cooked by the chef Núria Ortínez. It was accompanied with our ‘caves’ Llopart Reserva Rosé (winner of the 2016 Gold Vinari), the Integral Reserva Brut Nature (chosen as best sparkling cava during the 2016 Vijazz), and our white Vitis wine (bronze medal in the 2017 Acadèmia de Tastavins D. O. Penedès contest).
Pere Llopart, our enologist, spoke to the visitors about our organic viticulture and the stock sprout which is taking place right now in our farm. We also gave a map of the farm to everyone, with the description of the different elements that can be spotted from the air (with information about the Torrota from the 10h century, Masia Can Llopart, Masia Can Rigol, Masia de Can Ros, Subirats Castle, several dried-stone huts, and the panoramic approach to the Montserrat Mountains).
The flights lasted for 12 minutes and the sunny day helped us to enjoy the show with the best weather conditions.
Once the visitors landed, the experience went on with a very special visit to the Llopart family country house. There, in the oldest part of the cellar, they could taste our Llopart Gran Reserva Original 1887. The visit to our cellar ended when the visitors where given a personalised bottle as a gift and souvenir of the day.
Due to the success of this activity, we are considering repeating it next springtime. Ask us for information if you would like to join!
