Organic wines from Llopart
Llopart’s viticulture, in connection to the one practiced by our ancestors, has always been sustainable and respectful with the environment, applying the most rigorous methods in the vineyards. In the year 2000 we started the conversion process that finished in 2013 with the organic certification of our farming and winemaking processes.
The vine growing techniques inherited from traditional agriculture help maintain the balance in our vines, which will produce very healthy grapes. We do not use any synthetic chemical products in the vineyard, or in the wine making procedures. The aim is to obtain vines that are resistant and capable of finding balance in the ecosystems they live in and so they become their most faithful expression.
The Llopart family estate comprises 500 hectares: 102 ha of organic mountain vineyards and close to 400 ha of Mediterranean forest.
